We had fantastic day with Caricatures by Luke Warm at Lusty Glaze beech in Newquay. He was excellent entertaining the children whilst the speeches etc were carried out and did everyone a caricature to remember our special day. Fantastic service. 10/10

Suzie & Justin

Luke was simply fantastic. We'd never met him before but we had no worries as he totally organised himself on arrival, introduced himself to some of my guests and effectively got the party started. Would definitely recommend him.

Brett & Sandy

A lovely addition to our wedding, perfectly fitting in with our vintage games entertainment and live band. The characatures were of a high quality and mark was friendly and professional, mingling with guests and getting lots of interest.

Mark was very professional from the very initial contact and sent through lots of information which was very helpful. The caricatures went down with our guests very well and the quality and realism is amazing. I would recommend Mark in a heartbeat.

Pamela

We are so pleased we hired Mark to entertain our guests. As a supplier he was very professional to deal with, quick to respond and flexible with our requests. Our guests thought he was wonderful and all the pictures were fantastic, he's clearly very skilled at what he does! We'd both be happy to recommend him in the future.

The lowdown..

So who is the tall dude in the dark suit?!

Mark Nesbitt is an award winning Irish cartoonist and caricaturist who has worked under the pen name of 'Luke Warm' since 1990 - nearly 30 years!
He started off as a civil engineer and it was while working on water projects in Botswana that he had his first major break with the weekly publication of his social and political strip 'Fence Sittin' by Luke Warm' which ran for over 2 years in Mmegi newspaper.
In 1992 he moved to London, kept on the Luke Warm pen name and over the next ten years built up a body of cartoon and illustration work with the Financial Times, The Irish Times, The Press Association, the Times Higher Education Supplement, The Sunday Business Post and the Evening Standard amongst many others.
He moved to Devon in 2003 and since then, based in his purpose built studio, now mainly works as a caricaturist throughout the south west - in fact even as far south west as the Caribbean for P&O Cruises!

How is it best to contact you?

By far the best ways to contact me are by Email or by filling in the Enquiry Form below; either way you're guaranteed a considered and comprehensive written reply to your enquiry, usually within the same working day - and do please check your Junk mailbox.

You can also contact me by phone but please be aware that I'm often either mid way through a drawing in my studio or away entertaining at an event and never give prices over the phone.

What details do you need?

For on the spot caricature entertainment I need the date and location of the venue.

For caricatures from photos I need the number of people to be included in the drawing and the use the drawing will be put to.

I will then email you a range of options and prices - and do please check your Junk Mailbox for my reply!

How do I get the best results?!

To get the best results please keep emails short and clear, maintain the entire thread of emails, provide good quality photos and a single and complete brief.

This will then allow me to put the maximum amount of time into the drawing itself.

Luke Warm is based in North Devon so most of his on the spot work is in the West Country - Devon (Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Paignton, Barnstaple, Tiverton, Newton Abbot, Tavistock), Cornwall (Bodmin, Truro, Camborne, Redruth, St. Austell, Falmouth, Penzance, Newquay), Somerset (Taunton, Bath, Weston-super-Mare, Yeovil, Bridgwater, Wells, Glastonbury), Wiltshire (Trowbridge, Salisbury, Swindon, Chippenham, Devizes, Marlborough, Warminster), and Dorset (Dorchester, Poole, Weymouth, Sherborne, Wimborne Minster, Shaftesbury).  However from time to time he's tempted out of the sunny south west - often for conferences and events in South Wales, Birmingham or London.
